Skinny McGee and the Handshakes w/ Jack and Jessie Endelouz

Barlery, Chattanooga, TN

Skinny McGee Comes Home
After 44 years and countless miles, Skinny McGee—also known as Shawn Gravitt—is returning to his hometown of Chattanooga. He will be performing at the Barlery as part of Skinny McGee and the Handshakes' spring tour across Tennessee.
A Journey Through Music
Skinny McGee made his mark in the music world throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, performing as Skinny McGee and his Mayhem Makers. They played at Rockabilly festivals and venues, touring the United States and Europe. Eventually, Skinny and Chris Bell reorganized, forming The Handshakes. With the release of a full-length LP titled "Chattanooga Trigger Man" and eight singles. Hailing from Florida, The Handshakes are now bringing their distinctive sound to audiences throughout the Volunteer State.
The Handshakes' Unique Sound
The Handshakes are known for their dynamic musical style and songwriting, blending country and blues influences. Skinny McGee delivers Boom-Chica-Boom bass lines and compelling storytelling vocals, while Chris Bell adds driving rhythm guitar and lead harmonica. Together, they create a rich, room-filling sound that resonates with audiences.
Show and Time
Make sure you catch Skinny McGee and the Handshakes, with Chattanooga’s own Jack and Jessie Endelouz at Barlery Chattanooga, 516 E. Main St., at 8:00 PM. There is no cover charge.
